A collection of 3D art and animation work — from grad school experiments at Texas A&M to professional projects and personal explorations.
A showcase of my best professional work as a 3D artist, compiled in 2012.
A web application built using the Unity game engine — a 3D visualization and presentation tool for designers, architects, and anyone interested in designing their dream room in 3D.
Inspired by Indian miniature paintings, this short film follows a woman gazing from her jharoka (window) over a palatial garden, drawn to colorful kites in the sky. Though she seems lonely and trapped, the kites signify freedom and spirit — representing her aspirations as she sets the kite free.
The film explores and interprets the qualities of traditional 2D Indian miniature painting in a 3D medium, retaining the visual expression to evoke a similar mood in animation.
A group project spanning story development, pre-production through rendering and post-processing. My contributions included story development, concept drawings, rigging a story character, and lighting for several scenes.
A compositing project where a computer-generated toy plane — complete with shadows, reflection, and refraction — is placed into a real environment photographed with a digital SLR. The CG set was built in Maya to match the camera angle, shadow color, and lighting of the original scene.
